7 Ways to Get Your Brunch (Or Breakfast) On at CityWalk

Everyone knows breakfast is the most important meal of the day… and that brunch is the coolest meal of the day, which is sort of the same thing. So don’t spend too much time wondering when “breakfast” officially becomes “brunch” on an empty stomach.

You can head to CityWalk and decide after you’ve chowed down at one of these popular early-eating options, from casual dining to grabbing quick service on your way to your next adventure.

Voodoo Doughnut

“The magic is in the hole” at Voodoo Doughnut, a local favorite from Portland, Oregon and the newest eatery at CityWalk. When sudden hunger pangs hit, they know just what will hit the spot. Is your breakfast not complete without bacon? Sink your teeth into their world famous Bacon Maple Bar. In the mood for cereal? Voodoo Doughnut has you covered (or should I say, they have their doughnuts covered) with Captain My Captain, The Loop, and the No Name doughnuts. There’s also vegan variations of some of their most popular items! Each doughnut pairs perfectly with Portland’s own Stumptown Coffee, roasted daily here. Stumptown espresso is also available exclusively at our Voodoo Doughnut location! We recommend the Nitro Cold Brew to give you that extra boost before you head into the Park.

Saddle Ranch Chop House

The early bird gets the worm… but the early rock-and-roller at Saddle Ranch gets a special brunch menu full of specialty mimosas and bottomless Bloody Marys with purchase of a meal. And this range of meals will sure make you feel just wild enough for this Rock-Western chophouse: pancakes, omelets, breakfast burritos, chicken N’ biscuits, and much, much more. Plus, this brunch isn’t just for Sunday Fundays: it’s every day from open to 3pm. So leave the worm to the birds and grab a spicy Bloody Mary (or two).

Samba Brazilian Steakhouse

If you’ve ever been to a Brazilian steakhouse, you know the true meaning of the phrase, “all-you-can-eat.” Sundays from 11am to 3pm, Samba has an All-You-Can-Eat Meat + Salad Bar and a Hot Bar full of savory sides, where carvers come by to offer you cuts of beef, fish, and more. Vegetarians can go green with a straight salad bar option, but everyone can agree that bottomless champagne, sangria, and mimosas will hit the spot… repeatedly!

Hard Rock Cafe

From its SoCal omelet topped with avocado and sour cream to the “Whole Lotta Love” breakfast burger, Hard Rock Cafe Universal CityWalk has options for everyone and is the best way to kick start your morning. Hard Rock Cafe’s breakfast menu runs on Saturdays and Sundays, and daily during seasonal time periods, from 9 am – 11 am. Need more than delicious food to wake you up? The classic tunes from all genres are sure to get you moving.

Johnny Rockets

Rise and shine with buttermilk pancakes, cinnamon French toast and made to order scramblers at Johnny Rockets for breakfast! Other classics include the Breakfast B.E.L.T. , Rocket Breakfast Burger, and Philly Steak and Eggs, which are all made with quality ingredients. Classic comfort is served from sun up to sun down.

Subway

Wake up and smell the bread bake! Breakfast sandwiches are available from 7 am to 11 am every day, assembled by sandwich artists just the way you like it. Sammie fans should try Subway’s Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich on crispy, toasted flatbread. Pair it with a cup of coffee and you’ve got a breakfast as classic as it is quick, perfect to either sit and savor or nibble on your way to the rest of the day.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

A Southern California tradition that’s fueled countless Hollywood commutes, screenplays, and auditions will launch your day with a kick. Choose from a wide variety of exotic teas or dive into a Nitro Cold Brew coffee for an epic wake-up call. Enjoy a sweet, flaky pastry with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, or mix it up with a delicious Blended Mocha. Bring the whole crew and catch up over a delicious jolt of the best coffee and tea in town.
